The centerpiece of this impressive ring is a Celtic-inspired Tree of Life framed in an oval border. Its roots and branches extend outward to become a pattern of Celtic knots that fill the oval like a wreath. The tree is highlighted by its background, which is recessed and darkened with oxidation.

The sides of the ring are gracefully tapered, the full height of the oval down to a narrow band at the rear, creating a triangular panel on each side that is filled with a decorative cut-out triquetra knot.
